Born Jeffrey-Paul Valenti in Hartford, CT to a working-class Italian-American family; JP learned at an early age the importance of hard work, dedication and perseverance. His parents Paula Buccheri and Jeffery Valenti constantly instilled in him the idea that he could become anything he set his mind to. From the time he was a young child he has gravitated toward creative arts. Whether it was writing, doing comedic impressions or creating his own talk show.
In addition to this, JP has always been very active in athletics. Participating in sports like Baseball, Football, Track & Field, Soccer and Basketball. He attended the University of Connecticut where he double majored in Communication Sciences and Sociology.
After college, JP worked as a Analyst for a Manufacturing Company, Technician for the State Police Firearms Unit and as a Recruiter for an IT consulting firm, before ultimately deciding to leave that life behind and pursue his passion for acting and entertaining.
Now a full-time actor in Films, Television, Commercials and Theater; JP is proving to be one of the most sought after talents in New England. He was selected to be spotlighted in the June/July 2015 edition of Imagine Magazine and interviewed for Aspire TV's "Actors Corner".
Besides acting, JP has also done print catalogs for Gilly Hicks, Dunkin Donuts, Mercedes Benz and Swiss Army Victorinox; as well as emceed huge stage shows at both Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Resort and Casino.
He is most known for his acting roles in The Love Triangle, Secrets of the Arsenal, The Toymaker, and Can't Go Home. He has shared the screen with names like Emma Stone, Joaquin Phoenix, Joel Edgerton, Lauren Ambrose, Johnny Depp and Dwayne Johnson.
